WSS 3.0/MOSS 2007 doesn't recognize your WSS 2.0/SPS 2003 Virtual Server, if the IIS WEB Site is renamed. Unfortunately there is not much documentation about this, but renaming your Web Site back to the name in the "VirtualServers" table in the WSS 2.0/SPS 2003 Configuration table fixes this problem.
