Margriet Bruggeman, Nikander Bruggeman has nice article of adding new entries to SharePoint Search Noise Words List.
In SharePoint Server Farm environment, servers hosting SSP will have their noise words @ [drive letter]:\Program Files\Microsoft Office Servers\12.0\Data\Applications\[application GUID]\Config folder and in W.F.E servers the deafult set of noice wors are located in [drive letter]:\Program Files\Microsoft Office Servers\12.0\Data\Config folder.
